A creator shaping reality.
A born and raised Oakland creative with a knack for naps and a love for jokes. With a background in screenwriting and twelve years of stand-up comedy, my best friend is the pen I put on paper to tell stories. Born to a pair of Sudanese immigrants, I found myself learning how to tell stories through the lies I’d tell my parents to get out of trouble. I utilized these storytelling skills to land an MFA from New York University in Dramatic Writing, the same major as Donald Glover (though way less of the same success). Everything I write is to make you feel something, and whatever that feeling is, it’s the right emotion.
